WIW (4 outfits)

I have a bunch of backdated WIWs to post and decided to separate by type versus chronology – so this is the casual edition, the next will be the slightly less casual issue.

1 – Blue cords, graphic tee, flap collar blazer.
Worn to see a band at a bar. I hemmed the cords already but they need to be hemmed again, instead I just folded them under, as seen in the third image. Rest assured, I didn’t leave the house with my hair like this.

2 – Cropped jeans, yellow jacket.
I wore this to the airport – the security agents loved my shoes. It wasn’t busy at the airport so we wound up having this long chat about shoes and how/where to find great shopping deals. The 3rd image is basically the same outfit, just worn to the grocery store a couple weeks later.

3 – Stripes and stripes.
Visiting my parents.

4 – More cropped jeans.
I don’t remember where I wore this, though the grocery store would be a good guess. This top used to be a midi skirt that I never wore, gave away, only to have it given back. Now it works well as an above the knee skirt or a tube top.

    #2 is absolutely my favorite!!! :) I LOVE THAT RED HAT. I doubt a yellow jacket would work with my skin tone otherwise I'd 100% copy that look :D

    #3 is my close second fav :) You rock the bright colours!

    Fun and funky looks. I especially like # 2 with the red accents and green tee. #4 looks awesome half tucked (and love the back story on the top)

    Oh my gosh, you look great! I love all these looks. The red hat is so much fun. In fact, everything is fun. Love the stripes-on-stripes, too.

    Such fun looks! #2 is adorable and playful, I prefer a green top - what fun!
    Stripes on stripes work very well and cobalt pants look great also.

    Um, so it's absolutely impossible to choose a favorite here! Love your dressed up graphic tee, your happy yellow jacket, your dueling stripes (swoon!), and of course the convertible skirt-turned-top.

    LOVE your posts. You have style versatility. You can pull off sassy and vixen and fun equally well. I think the first and last are my favorite, but I think the pattern mixing in 3 is swell, too.

    Wow, they are all so great! #2 is my fave for sure but each outfit is lovely. You look amazing in yellow!

    They are all fantastic outfits - #3 and #4 are my favourites, but it's a close call! The skirt as a top is so clever, and it looks great.

    Wowza! Where do I start?!?! My favorite thing about *all* your WIWs - always - is how much your character just explodes from every photo! You wear your clothes, the clothes don't wear you, and I love it.

    No favorites, sorry ;)

    All these are so different and too much fun, each is total knockout in its own way. You look fantastic and, btw, you have beautiful eyes.

    Great set of looks. Love the entire outfit in #1, it's fun, it's fresh, it's funky, what a great look! #2 is also lovely, but I prefer the red hat to the blue one, it's just so fun red with yellow! #3 is nice too, you look great in yellow. And in #4, you have cropped jeans here, but your legs look miles and miles long with the shoes. What a super set of outfits, thanks for sharing!

    Thanks everyone – looking at this photo set, you’d have no idea how much black I have in my wardrobe! The funny thing about the skirt turned tube top is that not only did I give it away (to my sister), I’m pretty sure that she gave it to someone else too, then had it returned to her, before she returned it to me.

    Lyn – I have problems wearing yellow too, but I do alright so long as it’s bold and deep, so no citrons, no pale yellows – really the closer it gets to orange the better. You’d look super cute in a red hat!

    Had to hunt down the "part1" :) Love this set too, you do well with color! Outfit #1 with the blue cords is so vibrant, I'm simply going to have to copy this with my red skinnies! Clever use of the midi skirt in #4, and those cropped skinnies+heels just look amazing together.

    I'm late here, but had to chime in! You look dazzlingly fab in these brights, Girl X! I can't pick a fave--they are all awesome. I'm perhaps most impressed by how you charmed the security agents at the airport with those polka dotted beauties :).

    I didn't read the other comments. I love them all but especially number 1 and 2. I love the bit of sheen the cords in cobalt have and the combination of colors in 2 and the cuteness that is you are great.
